Confront Your Past

While nobody likes being reminded of his or her embarrassing past, running into exes or people you used to date is almost given especially when you live in into the same neighborhood. Instead of panicking and displaying crazy-girl behavior, why not be the bigger person and go up to say hi first? On hindsight, that guy may probably feel as anxious as you are and bizarre conducts probably won’t help matters. A more mature approach would have been to put on a big smile, go up to the guy, exchange a few pleasantries, and then gracefully leave.

On Old Ground

Before you became a couple, chances are you were friends, and while having history might complicate matters, it also makes it easier to go back to being platonic again since you can be totally honest and open. There’s no point in trying to hide something from a person who once had a special place in your heart. A deep bond and understanding means that even if you weren’t great as lovers, you might make better mates.
