Nepali Congress promises to back Prachanda-led majority government (Prachanda could be Next PM)

The CPN (Maoist Center) on Tuesday decided to withdraw its support to the KP Sharma Oli-led government. “As the leader of the Parliamentary Party of CPN (Maoist Center), Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has withdrawn the party’s support to the current government,” said a leader of the party, Top Bahadur Rayamajhi. A meeting of the CPN (Maoist Center) Headquarters held yesterday had authorized Dahal to take the decision on whether to continue supporting the current government.
